Abstract
The aim of the work is to study the chemical composition of essential oil samples of four endemic species of wormwood growing in the Central Kopetdag, to determine the main components. Using the method of steam distillation, essential oil samples were obtained from four endemic species of Artemisia turcomanica, Artemisia kopetdagensis, Artemisia ciniformis, Artemisia badhysi of the Central Kopetdag Artemisia, and the dependence of the yield of essential oil on the type of wormwood, place of growth was studied, the appearance and limits of change in the refractive index were characterized. By the method of gas-liquid chromatography, a quantitative analysis of the main components of the essential oil of wormwood of the studied species was carried out.
