Publication Ethics Statement

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. Our policies are based on the COPE Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

1. Authorship and Contributorship

The journal requires all listed authors to have made a significant contribution to the research. Authorship should be limited to those who contributed substantially to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All contributors who do not meet these criteria should be listed in the «Acknowledgements» section. The co-authors should approve the final version of the paper.

2. Complaints and Appeals

The Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Journal has a clear process for handling complaints against the journal, its staff, the editorial board, or the publisher. Complaints should be emailed to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief will investigate the matter according to COPE guidelines and provide a response within a set timeframe. If the complainant is unsatisfied, the matter may be referred to an independent adjudicator or the Editorial Oversight Committee.

3. Allegations of Research Misconduct

We take allegations of misconduct (e.g., fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism) seriously, whether they occur pre-publication or post-publication. The Editor-in-Chief will initiate an investigation, which may involve contacting the author’s institution or relevant regulatory bodies.

4. Conflicts of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could inappropriately influence their work. Editors/Reviewers must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists.

5. Data Sharing and Reproducibility

Methodologies must be described in sufficient detail to allow for the reproducibility of the results by other researchers.

6. Ethical Oversight
