Abstract
By the reaction of phenylisothiocyanate, halogen-, nitrobenzoylisothiocyanates with 1-methyl-2-aminobenzimidazole in dimethylformamide at 90 ˚C for 5 hours, the corresponding phenyl (benzoyl) thiourea derivatives were obtained. Elemental analysis data and infrared spectroscopy, PMR, and chromato-mass-spectra completely confirm the structure of the synthesized thiourea derivatives.
